Rest in Peace: Clive Burr

Clive Burr began his career with Iron Maiden in 1979 after a brief stint with Samson. He appeared on the albums Iron Maiden (1980), Killers (1981) and Number of the Beast (1982), and was widely considered one of metal’s more underrated players. He died in his sleep on the 12th of March, 2013 from complications stemming from a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He will be greatly missed.
