I bet you were expecting Albert Pecans or Old Man Socks, or whatever those idiots’ names are, but they’re not the only ones who listen to grind around here.
Ten tracks in less than seven minutes. One gazillion concussions in that same time period. That’s deathgrind, dude.
From the get-go, “Schrei nach Hiebe” and “Lecker Burger” echo the spirit of Napalm Death’s Scum mixed with Defecation’s Purity Dilution and ACxDC’s Antichrist Demoncore. Perhaps it’s a little more bit-sized than the latter, but hopefully you’re catching my drift. The rapid-fire vocals merging with that machine gun fire snare attack is absolutely diabolical. “Vollautomatik Neuroleptika” and “Präapokalypse” push more into 30 seconds than you can fathom—samples, noodling up and down the fretboard, deep guttural vocals, murderous shrieks.
The transition from “Alter Fick Dich” to “Es Iohnt sich für den Tod” is probably the highlight of the release. Moving from the brutal breakdown to more Repulsion-y fretboard frenzy and the shouted vocals is pure violence. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention “Geburtenstark.” Borderline clean vocals bouncing back and forth with the classic growls is another high point—especially with that hooky chant at the end. It might just be the catchiest grind track of 2025.
If you still have your wits about you and make it to the tech death homage on “Schießen statt Hallo sagen,” you’ll eventually find yourself near the finale “Feindbild.” There’s a fun little FREAKING JAZZ(!!!) number that’ll blow your socks off.
Call yourself a grind enthusiast? Feind’s 9mm Neuroleptika is an absolute must listen. The epitome of violence and frustration, topped off with just a little bit of beauty, this is precisely the release we need in 2025
