Staff Infections – Summer 2025

Howdy, friends. I’m back. Apologies for the absence of Staff Infections these past few months. The rise of fascism has me in a bit of a crisis of giving a shit, and Ozzy Osbourne’s death hasn’t done my mood any favors. However, I’m back in the game and pleased to present to you the Super Summer Slam edition of Staff Infections, featuring compiled staff playlists from the past three months.

Some popular albums of this summer include Deliquesce’s Saviour / Enslaver, Hexerei’s Realms….., Sulfuric Cautery’s Killing Spree, Wytch Hazel’s V: Lamentations, and Unbirth’s  Asomatous Bersmirchment. It should come as no surprise that the big winner is Ozzy Osbourne’s entire discography, both solo and with Sabbath. I was fortunate to get into Black Sabbath early in my metal journey, and I’m an old son of a bitch, so I’ve had Ozzy singing in my now-tinnitus-ridden ears for at least thirty-five years. Suffice it to say, I’m going to miss that maniac, and I’m sure you all will too.

As for me, I’ll give you one form Sabbath, and one solo: “Wheels of Confusion” and “I Don’t Know”, the live version from Tribute in particular.
